Sante has provided services of healthcare under the title of "La Clinica de la Mariposa" (the Clinic of the Butterfly). The clinic (s) that we provide in and around San Jose, Costa Rica, have been totally mobile and utilize portable equipment. The clinics are held in community centers around the area and use the voluntary services of practicing doctors and upper level chiropractic students from the US. Local doctors assist and provide consulting services.

We go for three weeks and doctors usually serve a week or so (students go for the full three weeks).

Sante's purpose is:

• To involve licensed and active-practice health care practitioners, and students supervised by professionals in their fields; and
• To offer clinics and care to communities in collaboration with other self-help groups.
